Ok, here goes nothing.
My goal is to add a picture a day with some sort of text accompanying.
Today, it’s my knitting book from who knows when. My copy is not as old as the one pictured - mine cost $4.50 originally, not 40¢. This is my go-to book for knitting mittens. My favorite is the Classic Mittens and Gloves for the Whole Family pattern - in mittens of course. They are in the round and always turn out perfectly. The instructions are old school, so they take a bit to decipher sometimes, but it’s such a great book.
The mittens I am making will be for my dear friend, Jen, who I mad a hat and cowl for and had leftover yarn. I am debating placing a similar cable motif on the backs of these mittens as is on the hat and cowl - this could take some thinking!
