I love making baby stuff. Why? Because you can use awesome amounts of color and everyone will ooh and aah and there will be actual wearing of the knit good. Make the same thing in adult size and there’s too much color for a “real person.”
This hat was a study in short rows for me. Lots and lots of short rows. I learned how to pick up my wraps so that there are no holes and no noticeable wraps on the right side of the piece. Really cool, if you ask me. Will come in handy when I finally get around to knitting those rainbow socks.
